DomusBetaHouse, in Latin
Domus is the family operating system — a shared calendar, chores that earn rewards, lists, tasks and a kiosk display for the kitchen wall. And when a new schedule shows up as a PDF or a photo, you just drop it in and Domus writes the calendar for you.
Most households run on memory, sticky notes and four apps that don't talk to each other. Someone is the human calendar, and everything falls over the week they get busy. Domus puts the calendar, the chores, the shopping and the to-dos in one shared place that every person in the house can see — on a phone, a laptop, or a screen stuck on the kitchen wall.
It's built for the ordinary chaos: three schedules colliding on a Tuesday, a school break nobody wrote down, a reward the kids are two chores away from earning.
The one that saves an evening
School year calendars, swim meet schedules, camp flyers — they always arrive as a PDF or a photo, and typing them in by hand is why they never make it onto the calendar at all. Domus reads them for you.
Drag a school-year PDF, a sports schedule screenshot or a camp flyer onto the calendar import box.
AI lists every dated entry it found. Edit titles and dates, uncheck what you don't want, pick who each one is for.
Everything lands grouped under one source, so a whole import can be removed again in a single click.
Multi-day breaks come in as a single span. Dates without a year are resolved against the school year in the document, and anything ambiguous gets flagged for you rather than guessed at. Nothing is written to your calendar until you press the button.
Day, week and month views with travel time and conflict alerts.
Kids earn points for helping and unlock family rewards with a gold star.
